Deadzone Countdown Begins
I finally scrounged enough pennies to put in my pre-order for Mantic’s Deadzone. I’ve just gone with the basic game but I am really looking forward to banging out the Plague and Enforcers army-style and having some fun airbrushing the terrain. I’ve been so looking forward to this that I’ve found it hard to start another project on my workbench. I want to be able to tear open the box when it arrives and immediately start to work.
I was planning on working on my 1/72 biplace/airbrush practice but I need to do some putty work and I don’t feel like opening windows in the winter to avoid fumigating myself with toluene so I’m putting that one on hold until the spring.
Deadzone started shipping February 14th and I know I’ll be checking my mailbox starting the 15th in a futile hope that Mantic is pioneering a Star Trek style transporter delivery system they haven’t publicized because their beta-testing it with a few select customers. Oh God, I hope my copy doesn’t arrive inside-out or merged with a fly! No, it’s worth the risk!
I would officially like to accept my inclusion in Mantic’s secret beta Star Trek style transporter delivery system.
