Heavy Gear Kickstarter: Painting Cobras

The last miniatures of the Southern faction from the Heavy Gear Kickstarter are finished. Again, I was pushing the brightness of my airbrushed highlights which can be seen most clearing on the King Cobra on the right. The miniatures still really need a strong shadow to break apart the surfaces and shapes of the gears to make them more visible but I’m not planning on spending any more time on them.
In fact, this marks the end of the entire Kickstarter Project. I have too many other things that I want to paint to waste time on disappointing miniatures. I may return in the future but for now my focus will be getting all my Guild Ball miniatures painted.
Well, take heart in the fact that you have done with them much more than I would have. Such a shame how these turned out.
It is. I still remain a fan, in theory, of DP9, although it may be a memory of how the company used to be.
