Teach Your Kids to Game Week
Better late than never. Today is the last day of Drivethrurpg’s “Teach Your Kids to Game Week” and I took advantage of the deals to pick up both Hero Kids and Numenera. My daughter is six and I hope she’ll be able to play and enjoy Hero Kids. Numenera, well, I’ve been wanting to check it out and $10 was just too good of a deal to ignore.
Things around here should get a little more active. It was me being lazy and playing videogames, having some paint trouble on my Princess Leia Boushh miniature, failing at Nanowrimo and having to study for tech certifications that are to blame for my inactivity. Although being lazy was the biggest contributing factor I had some paint behave strangely while painting Boushh. It didn’t dry and I was able to recover by washing most of it off it was very frustrating. Every time I think about painting I remember my trouble and it makes me want to avoid the table. I may have to set poor Leia aside and paint something else to get back into the game.
I digress. The deals on Drivethrurpg are really good. If you’ve been avoiding getting a lighter game because you couldn’t justify it in your budget now may be the time.
