Modern Naval: Venuzuela vs Colombia

Modern Naval: Venuzuela vs Colombia

David Redpath ran a very good naval game at Cangames this year -- a battle between Venezuela and Colombia over oil rights.

Movement was tracked on secret maps and only when combat took place did minis go on the table.

The first combat occurred when a flight of Colombian Kifirs found the main Venuzuelan fleet

One ship was lucky and decoyed all the missiles targeting it

The other wasn't so lucky

Then single ships from each fleet found each other and opened fire

I think the Shipwreck rules worked really well, they were really quick but still gave a good feel for modern missile combat.
