You're right - it's all there in the fine print of the PDF!

What page did you find this rule. I remember reading it but can not find it.

I didn't find any clearly-stated rule, but the outcome of multiple battles that are fought in the same area is discussed in section 3, "Advance Victorious Troops", on page 10 of the Caen pdf.

Another area where it is clearly stated is in battle 5 and 6 of turn 3 in this tutorial. It is clearly an attack in the same area from tow different areas.

Last two turns:

In retrospect, apart from rolling better, I should have moved my tanks more than half-speed. Maybe I was channeling the "Hen and Chicks" rule...

Turn 5
Allies had 210 victory points at this point in the game. The Allied had won the initiative for all 8 attacks and therefor the Axis had no way to reclaim any points. The conclusion of the Caen Firestorm campaign is an Allied Strategic Victory.
Instead of playing turn 5 it was decided to play a total war game with 1000 points per player. There were a total of 5 players on each side. The Allies were represented by Mike, Serge, Francis, John, and Good Duncan and the Axis were represented by Jeff, Tod, Vince, Bernard, and Lev. The outcome was a 17 to 10 point victory for the Allies after 5 turns.

The end result of the campaign was 22 games played and 3 games rolled by the Generals. Axis had 10 wins and Allies had 15 wins.

It was a load of fun.

Was a great game lost of fun. On our side of the table the Germans had a great time destroying Shermans, but they forgot the objectives so that really hurt them. I had 2 trained infantry teams in the ruins that were holding the objective for the whole game looking across at 3 panthers, 2 tigers, 5 panzer 4s, and an infantry platoon. But they didn't even bother to contest the objective until the end of the game, and never did make any attempt to take the objective. Out plan to advance on the 2 center objectives one the first turn with recon if possible worked quit well.

The huge games are fun I think, they are a good change from normal FoW.

Thanks;
Mike
